Not so long ago, Hillsdale was home to more cows compared to people even so the expanding economic system and population in the years right after WW II been modified that. Growing affluence and the nation’s blossoming love affair with the automobile led in order to Portland’s southerly city expansion, on the hill and on the dale. Hillsdale’s real estate market has slowed to some crawl these past few months. Only three homes around either unresolved or distributed status have experienced offers accepted during the past 2 1/2 a number of weeks. (July 1-Sept 13) By contrast, six households had gives accepted around June single-handedly. Five of these successfully closed; the sixth continues to be in pending status. There are still plenty involving buyers actively looking for homes to buy but they’re a mindful bunch. As always, location is vital; Hillsdale remains very attractive.
